Andrew Gale, evo CEO, was awarded ‘Business Leader of the Year’ at the European Office Products Awards (EOPA) in Amsterdam on 11th March.

The annual EOPA were once again presented as part of OPI’s Partnership event, which for the 11th time brought together senior executives from Europe’s reseller and vendor communities for strategic one-to-one meetings.

The EOPA 2025 presentation dinner was attended by leading industry figures from across Europe. It was a fabulous evening of celebration that highlighted great products, initiatives, companies and individuals from the business supplies industry. It was also a wonderful opportunity to get together, meet existing business partners and forge new relationships while raising a glass to all that is innovative, progressive and resilient in our sector.

Andrew won the Business Leader of the Year award amid much praise from both the EOPA judges and his industry peers. Unwavering dedication, hard work and remarkable leadership were some of the words used to describe him. Under first his financial stewardship and subsequent leadership at evo Group, he has successfully navigated this operator through some challenging times.

Most recently, through clear vision and a keen understanding of market needs and trends, he has steered the company towards new opportunities, expanding both its product ranges and supplier base.

Commenting on this year’s EOPA, OPI CEO Steve Hilleard, who is also the Chairman of the EOPA judging panel, said: “For the 24th time, the European business supplies sector came together to reward the very best of what our industry has to offer. Challenges remain omnipresent, but there appears to be an enormous appetite – partially through great leadership – for facing them head-on and continuously coming up with new and innovative products, inspiring campaigns and initiatives.

“The EOPA are always a great reflection of what’s going in our sector and this year is certainly no different. The judging panel was once again impressed with the calibre of the nominations in a total of 13 categories and the excellence of the winners in every single one of them.”
